Mayor proclaims WECAA’s DC Diplomatic Day of Kindness 

Washington, D.C. – November 7, 2023… A new initiative aimed at fostering goodwill and community engagement is set to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, November 8, 2023.  Mayor Muriel Bowser acknowledged Washington Educational and Cultural Attaché Association’s (WECAA) leadership in launching the first DC Diplomatic Day of Kindness.

The DC Diplomatic Day of Kindness was conceived as an opportunity for various foreign embassies to come together and make a positive impact in their home city of Washington, D.C. This event will mark the beginning of an ongoing annual tradition.

Congratulations to the International Student House

The International Student House of Washington, DC (I-House DC) was the recipient of WECAA’s 2024 “DC Diplomatic Day of Kindness Award,” accepted by Daniel Bremer-Wirtig, Executive Director (I-House DC) on behalf of the board and the students.
